This guide walks you through the core concepts covered during an Investment Dominator setup call. You’ll learn how to navigate between Legacy and 2.0, configure your profile and company settings, manage buying and selling workflows, import records, send letters, and use key tools like Deal Flows and Property IQ.

Step 1. Understanding Legacy vs Investment Dominator 2.0

Investment Dominator includes two environments:

  • Legacy (Classic) – Used for a few setup functions that are still transitioning
  • 2.0 – The primary, modern CRM where day-to-day work happens

When to Use Legacy

You may still need Legacy for:

  • The Onboarding Wizard (domain registration)
  • Custom document templates
  • Certain advanced or older workflows

Switching Between Versions

  1. Click the Investment Dominator logo (top-left) to return to the home screen
  2. Use the toggle switch to move between Legacy and 2.0

Step 2. Navigating the Investment Dominator 2.0 Dashboard

The 2.0 homepage displays:

  • Performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Recent activity
  • Quick access to tools

The blue navigation menu provides access to:

  • Prospecting
  • Buying
  • Marketing
  • Selling

For anything related to records, leads, or deals, you’ll start in Prospecting.

Step 3. Profile Settings (Important Rules)

Navigate to Profile from the top menu.

What You Can Update

  • Password
  • Time zone
  • Primary contact phone (internal only)
  • Signature image
  • Profile picture
  • Preferred record views (list, card, calendar)
  • Notification preferences

What NOT to Change

Do not change your email address
Your email is tied to your Land Profit Generator account.
If it needs to change, contact support.

Step 4. Signature Image for Letters

Your signature image is the only profile element that appears on mailed letters.

You can:

  • Upload a signature image
  • Draw your signature
  • Generate one using typed text

⚠️ Known Issue
Generated signatures may appear slightly off-center.
Best practice:

  • Upload a signature image or
  • Draw the signature manually

Step 5. Notification Preferences

Control how you’re alerted when someone interacts with your websites.

Buying Site Notifications

Triggered when a seller:

  • Requests an offer
  • Submits property details

Selling Site Notifications

Triggered when a buyer:

  • Views or inquires about a listed property

Available notification methods:

  • Email
  • SMS
  • Mobile app notifications

Step 6. Team Management

If you work with partners or assistants, you can add them under Team.

Team Member Roles

  • Admin – Full access
  • Representative – Limited permissions

Each team member:

  • Has their own login
  • Operates under your main account

Team members can also attend training sessions through the Help section.

Step 7. Company Settings (Buying Side)

Go to Settings → Company.

This information appears on:

  • Prospect Neutral Letters
  • Buying website

Required Best Practices

  • Use a business address (virtual address recommended)

  • Use a business phone number (Google Voice, Quo/OpenPhone, etc.)

Key Fields

  • Company name (or personal name)
  • Company address
  • Company phone number
  • Company email
  • Time zone
  • Licensed agent/broker disclosure (if applicable)

⚠️ Disclosures must be under 800 characters or they will be cut off.

Step 8. Offer Phone & Offer Email

When a seller requests an offer:

  • Offer Email appears on the offer document
  • Offer Phone can be separate or shared with your company line

Some users route calls with:

  • Press 1: Request an offer
  • Press 2: Discuss an offer

Step 9. Company Settings (Selling Side)

The selling side is a separate business workflow.

Configure:

  • Selling company/brand name
