Welcome to Investment Dominator! This guide walks you through the complete onboarding process using the Setup Wizard, along with best practices for configuring your business, setting up marketing tools, and launching your first campaign.

Accessing the Setup Wizard

When you log into Investment Dominator for the first time, you’ll see the Setup Wizard button at the top of your dashboard.

💡 If you don’t see it, your setup may already be complete.

Click Setup Wizard to begin onboarding.


Step 1: Personal Profile Setup

Start by entering your personal details:

  • Name – This will appear on your marketing letters
  • Profile Picture (optional) – For internal use only
  • Email & Phone – Safe to use personal contact info (not public)
  • Time Zone – Ensures correct timestamps
  • Digital Signature – Used in letters (upload or generate)

You’ll also select how you plan to use the system:

  • Individual
  • Company/DBA
  • Not sure yet

Step 2: Company Information

This section is public-facing and used in your marketing.

Key Fields:

  • Company Phone
  • Business Email
  • Mailing Address (IMPORTANT)
  • Company Time Zone

⚠️ Important Recommendations

Do NOT use:

  • Personal phone number
  • Personal email
  • Home address

Instead, use:

  • A business email (free or domain-based)
  • A virtual mailbox or PO box

Virtual Mailbox Setup

We recommend using a service like Anytime Mailbox to:

  • Receive scanned mail via email
  • Protect your home address
  • Manage business correspondence remotely

Phone System Setup (Highly Recommended)

Use a virtual phone system like Quo with three separate lines:

  1. Company / Offer Request Line
    • Initial inbound calls
    • Can be handled by call center or AI
  2. Negotiation Line
    • For discussing offers
    • Should be answered by you or a trained team member
  3. Sales (Cash Buyer) Line
    • Used for property listings
    • Most important—connects you to buyers

Step 3: Buying (Acquisition) Setup

This section defines your buying brand.

Configure:

  • Buying Brand Name
  • Domain (Website URL)
  • Offer Phone (Negotiation Line)
  • Offer Email

Domain Options

You have two choices:

Option 1: Register Inside Investment Dominator

  • Free to use
  • Managed for you
  • $100 fee if transferred later

Option 2: Use External Provider

Purchase domains via providers like GoDaddy and link them manually.

Choose a domain that:

  • Is short and easy to type
  • Reflects what you do (e.g., “BuyLand”, “CashForLots”)

Step 4: Selling (Disposition) Setup

This section defines your selling brand.

Configure:

  • Selling Brand Name
  • Selling Domain
  • Sales Phone (Cash Buyer Line)
  • Sales Email

🔑 Key Strategy: Separate Buying & Selling

Keep these completely separate:

  • Domains
  • Emails
  • Phone numbers
  • Branding

Why?
This avoids confusion and prevents sellers from comparing your buying offers with your selling prices.


Step 5: Complete Setup

Review all information and click Complete Setup.

You’ll now see a confirmation that you’re ready to begin.

After setup, follow this workflow:

  1. Download Records
    • Go to Prospecting → Find Deals
  2. Send Neutral Letters
    • Use built-in templates
    • Send via integrated mailing service
  3. Engage with Sellers
    • Answer calls
    • Evaluate interest
  4. Send Offers
    • Conduct research
    • Mail formal offers
  5. Close & Sell
    • Perform due diligence
    • Market the property
    • Sell to buyers

Sending Letters (Mailing House)

You can send mail directly through the system using:

  • Built-in mailing integration
  • First Class or Standard delivery options

Process:

  1. Select records
  2. Click Generate Documents
  3. Choose Neutral Letter
  4. Send via mailing service

Customizing Letters

You can:

  • Edit wording
  • Add logos or branding
  • Create fully custom templates

Managing Your Settings

You can update your setup anytime:

  • Profile Settings → Personal info
  • Company Settings → Business details
  • No need to rerun the wizard
