This guide walks you through the initial setup process of your Investment Dominator 2.0 system — including your user profile, company settings, domain connection, website customization, and record importing.
By completing this setup, you’ll ensure that your account, websites, and marketing workflows are fully configured before launching your first campaign.
1. Setting Up Your User Profile
Before importing leads or sending your first campaign, start by configuring your personal user profile.
To access this, go to:
Main Menu → Profile
🧩 Profile Information
- Name – Enter your name as it should appear on letters and emails.
- Profile Picture (optional) – Upload a headshot for your internal account.
- Signature – Create a marketing signature (not legal). You can:
- Generate a digital signature using the built-in tool.
- Draw your signature with your mouse or touchscreen.
- Upload a scanned image of your signature.
🕓 Time Zone
Choose your local time zone to ensure all system notifications and tasks display accurately.
📧 Email and Login
- Your email address serves as your username.
- You can change it to a business email if preferred.
- Update your password under Change Password if needed.
📞 Phone and Notifications
- Primary Phone – Typically your personal number.
- Notifications – Choose how to be alerted:
- SMS
- In-app alerts (via the Investment Dominator mobile app).
2. Configuring Your Buying Company
Next, set up your Buying Company details.
Navigate to:
Settings → Buying Company
These details are used for neutral letters, offer requests, and your buying website.
🏢 Company Information
- Company Name – Your business or investment name.
- Address – Avoid using your home address. Instead, use:
- A Virtual Mailbox such as LPGMailbox.com
- Or a P.O. Box for privacy.
- Email – Use a professional business email (e.g., info@yourcompany.com).
- Phone – Avoid using your personal number. Recommended setup:
- Use a Google Voice line or virtual number (e.g., Quo).
- Consider having three dedicated lines:
- Offer Request Line (incoming seller leads)
- Offer Line (offer follow-ups)
- Sales Line (buyer inquiries)
- Fax – Optional field.
- Time Zone – Match your business hours.
- Disclosure – Required for licensed agents/brokers.
- Offer Email/Phone – Use a dedicated inbox and number if possible.
3. Configuring Your Selling Company
Now, configure your Selling Company details, which appear on your selling website and marketing materials.
Go to:
Settings → Selling/Disposition Company
Recommended setup:
- Company Name – Same as your Buying Company.
- Email – Use a sales-focused address (e.g., sales@yourcompany.com).
- Phone – Use your designated Sales Line.
- Tax ID (EIN) – Optional, but can be added once registered.
4. Setting Up and Customizing Your Websites
Each Investment Dominator account comes with two websites:
- Buying Site – For property owners requesting offers.
- Selling Site – For displaying available properties.
Both sites are automatically generated, but you’ll want to customize them to match your brand.
4.1 Buying and Selling Domain Setup
You can either:
- Purchase your own domains (recommended), or
- Request Investment Dominator to provide them free of charge.
If you want Investment Dominator to set them up:
- Go to Help → Submit a Ticket.
- Include your preferred domain names (one for Buying, one for Selling).
💡 Note: If we purchase your domains, you can transfer ownership after 3 months for a one-time $100 fee.
Self-Setup via GoDaddy:
- Visit GoDaddy.com.
- Search for available domain names (e.g., LuisBuysLand.com).
- Purchase your chosen domains.
- Follow our guide: Connecting Your Custom Domain (GoDaddy).
- Update your CNAME record.
- Forward your domain to investmentdominator.com.
4.2 Customizing Logos and Branding
- Go to Settings → Websites → Manage Logos.
- Use the built-in Logo Generator:
- Pick a font and color.
- Add an icon (e.g., a fence or tree).
- Preview and click Generate.
- Or upload your own logo (recommended size: 272×54 px).
If your logo appears stretched or off-center, submit a support ticket for adjustment.
4.3 Editing Website Text and Themes
A. Site Titles and Descriptions
- Navigate to Settings → Websites → Titles/Descriptions.
- Replace placeholder text with your actual business info:
- Title: Luis Buys Land
- Description: We specialize in purchasing vacant land quickly and easily.
⚠️ Default text may mention “houses.” If you focus on land, update it to reflect that.
B. Custom Themes
Investment Dominator provides a selection of sample website themes.
To install:
- Download a theme from the User Guide under Custom Themes.
- Go to Settings → Websites → Manage Themes.
- Upload and save.
- Refresh your site to apply changes.
You may also create your own theme if you have web design experience.
4.4 Adding Custom Pages or Blog Posts
Custom pages let you add extra content such as FAQs, Testimonials, or Blog Posts.
💡 Available only in the Legacy Version for now.
To Add a Custom Page:
- Go to Customize → Website Pages and Posts.
- Click Add Page.
- Select:
- Website: Buying or Selling Site
- Type: Single Page or Blog
- Add a Title and Description, then make it Public.
To Add Blog Posts:
- Navigate to Custom Posts → Add Post.
- Choose the associated page (e.g., Testimonials).
- Add content and images.
- Click Add and publish.
To Display in Menus:
- Go to Customize → Website Settings → Manage Menu.
- Add the new page to your Header or Footer Menu.
- Save and refresh your website.
5. Importing Property Records
Once your sites are set up, the next step is to import leads into your CRM.
To Import Using the Data Service:
- Go to Prospecting → Wizards → Find Deals Wizard.
- Choose Data Service (recommended) or CSV Upload.
- Set filters:
- State/County (e.g., Maricopa County, AZ)
- Market Value Range (e.g., $10,000–$1,000,000)
- Land Use (keep default if unsure)
- Record Type (Individuals, Companies, or Both)
- Click Confirm Filters.
- Select how many records to import (100–500 recommended).
- Assign records to a campaign such as Neutral Letter.
- Confirm import.
Records will appear under Prospecting → View Records.
6. Managing Signature and Company Display Settings
If you prefer your letters to show your company name instead of your personal name:
- Go to Profile Settings.
- Change your First/Last Name to your Company Name.
- Optionally, remove or replace your Signature image with a company logo.
⚠️ Using a personal signature often builds more trust, but the choice is yours.

You can access help and learning resources at any time:
- Help → Submit a Ticket – for personalized assistance.
- AI Support Assistant – click the chat icon for instant help.
- Weekly Monday Calls – live training and Q&A sessions.
- Investment Dominator User Guide – searchable documentation with step-by-step tutorials.
