Understanding KPIs in Investment Dominator

The KPI (Key Performance Indicator) section on your Dashboard measures how effectively your leads are moving through your Deal Flow and how profitable your deals are.
These KPIs are calculated automatically based on record movement between stages.

Call Back Rate

Definition:

  • Records that were once in the Prospect stage
    vs
  • Records that moved from Prospect → Offer Request stage

Important:

  • Only includes records that are part of a Deal Flow
  • Records not assigned to a Deal Flow are not counted

What This Means

This KPI measures how effectively your prospects are converting into active conversations or offer opportunities.

In simple terms:

Of all the leads that entered Prospect, how many progressed to Offer Request?

A higher Call Back Rate generally indicates:

  • Better lead quality
  • Stronger follow-up systems
  • More responsive sellers

Offer Acceptance Rate

Definition:

  • Records that were once in the Offers Made stage
    vs
  • Records that moved from Offers Made → Buying stage

Important:

  • Only includes records that are part of a Deal Flow

What This Means

This KPI measures how many of your submitted offers are being accepted.

In simple terms:

Of all the offers you made, how many moved forward into the Buying stage?

A higher Offer Acceptance Rate may reflect:

  • Strong pricing strategy
  • Good negotiation
  • Accurate valuation

Profit

Definition:

(Purchased Amount + Purchased Total Closing Costs)
vs
(Sold Amount + Sold Total Closing Costs)

Includes all properties, regardless of stage.

What This Means

This KPI calculates your overall profitability based on purchase and sale data entered into the system.

It reflects:

  • Total investment (purchase + closing costs)
  • Total return (sale + closing costs)
  • Net profitability across deals

Accuracy depends on:

  • Correct purchase price entry
  • Accurate closing costs
  • Proper sale data input

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Why are my KPIs showing zero?

KPIs only calculate movement within a Deal Flow.
If your records are not assigned to a Deal Flow, they will not be counted.

Do deleted records affect KPIs?

No. KPIs track stage movement history within active Deal Flow records.

If I manually move a record between stages, does it count?

Yes. Any movement between the defined stages inside a Deal Flow will be included in the KPI calculation.

Why does my Call Back Rate seem low?

Possible reasons:

  • Records are not being moved properly between stages
  • Not using Deal Flow consistently
  • Leads not progressing to Offer Request

Make sure your workflow reflects real activity.

Why doesn’t Profit match my accounting software?

The Profit KPI is based only on values entered in Investment Dominator.
If purchase amounts, sale amounts, or closing costs are missing or inaccurate, the KPI will reflect that.

Do KPIs update automatically?

Yes. KPIs update automatically as records move between stages and as financial data is entered.
