Caller comments help you store additional notes, seller details, and conversation context directly inside a property record. In Investment Dominator 2.0, you can add private, admin-only, or public comments that become part of the record’s history. This guide shows you how to locate a record and add comments to it.
Step 1: Locate the Record
You can find the record in two ways:
A. Search Bar
Use the global Search Bar at the top of your screen to search by:
Owner name
APN
Mailing address
Other record-related fields
B. Navigate Through System Sections
You can also browse to the record through the appropriate module, such as:
Prospects

For example, if you’re looking for a prospect:
Go to Prospects.
Review the list and select the desired record.
Step 2: Open the Comments Section
Click on the record to open its details page.
Navigate to the Comments tab/section.
If the record has previous comments, they will appear here in chronological order. If not, the section will be empty.

You’ll see a form with the following fields:
A. Status (Private or Public)

Only users inside your Investment Dominator account can see the comment.
This includes you and team members who have system access.
Public
The comment will appear on the public property listing page.
Use this only for details you want buyers to see when marketing the property.
B. Type (Admin/Rep Visibility)
This controls which internal users can view the comment:
Admin Only
Only users with Admin-level permissions can access the comment.
Admin & Rep
Admins and Representative-level users can see the comment.
This is the typical choice for general team-sharing notes.

Any details that do NOT fit into a standard field (APN, acreage, etc.).
You may also add internal notes such as:

9. What is the difference between Caller Comments and Property Comments?
Yes, there is an important distinction between the two:
Caller Comments are gathered directly from the property owner during the initial Offer Request process. These comments typically capture information provided during the first conversation, such as motivation, asking price, condition notes, or special circumstances. You add these over at ‘Owner>INTEREST’.
Property Comments are added later by your team after the record has been created. These are usually internal notes, follow-ups, updates, or additional insights collected over time that were not part of the original offer request. You add these over at ‘Property>COMMENTS’.
This separation helps keep original seller-provided information distinct from ongoing internal notes and updates for the property record.
