Caller comments help you store additional notes, seller details, and conversation context directly inside a property record. In Investment Dominator 2.0, you can add private, admin-only, or public comments that become part of the record’s history. This guide shows you how to locate a record and add comments to it.
1. Locate the Record
You can find the record in two ways:
A. Search Bar
Use the global Search Bar at the top of your screen to search by:
Owner name
APN
Mailing address
Other record-related fields
B. Navigate Through System Sections
You can also browse to the record through the appropriate module, such as:
Prospects
Buying
Selling
Deal Flow
For example, if you’re looking for a prospect:
Go to Prospects.
Review the list and select the desired record.
2. Open the Comments Section
Click on the record to open its details page.
Navigate to the Comments tab/section.
If the record has previous comments, they will appear here in chronological order. If not, the section will be empty.
3. Add a New Comment
Click the Add Comment button.
You’ll see a form with the following fields:
A. Status (Private or Public)
Private
Only users inside your Investment Dominator account can see the comment.
This includes you and team members who have system access.
Public
The comment will appear on the public property listing page.
Use this only for details you want buyers to see when marketing the property.
B. Type (Admin/Rep Visibility)
This controls which internal users can view the comment:
Admin Only
Only users with Admin-level permissions can access the comment.
Admin & Rep
Admins and Representative-level users can see the comment.
This is the typical choice for general team-sharing notes.
Admin (Internal Use)
Similar to Admin Only, but intended for strictly internal comments.
Use these options based on the sensitivity of the information.
C. Comment Text
This is where you enter the caller’s notes or any additional information related to the property.
Examples of caller comments:
The seller is moving out of state.
They want to avoid paying future taxes.
They want to sell quickly.
Any details that do NOT fit into a standard field (APN, acreage, etc.).
You may also add internal notes such as:
“This property has good potential for recreational use.”
“Consider marketing toward off-grid buyers.”
These notes become valuable later when doing research or creating property listings.
4. Save the Comment
Once you’ve completed all fields:
Click Add Comment.
Your new comment will appear in the Comments list with:
Date added
Status
Type
The comment text
You may edit existing comments or continue adding additional comments as needed—especially if the seller calls again or new information becomes available.
