STEP 1:
- Navigate to the ‘PROSPECTS‘ section from the left navigation menu.
- Click the ‘ACTIONS‘ dropdown and select ‘Add Property‘:
- Check the box for ‘Add property from Data Service‘.
- Click the green ‘CONFIRM‘ button to proceed to the Add Property From Data Service screen:
STEP 2:
- In the search box, enter an address, cross streets (e.g., ‘W 9th and Williams Ave’), or an area (e.g., ‘Lehigh Acres, FL’) to locate properties within the United States:
- If you know the Assessor’s Parcel Number (APN), change the search mode from ‘Location‘ to ‘APN‘.
- Then select the appropriate State and County, and enter the APN exactly as the county references it.
- Select one of the suggested locations to load the area on the map.
STEP 3:
- Zoom in on the map to locate the approximate area of the lot.
- Click on the map to place a pin at the property’s location.
- A location card will appear with a ‘GET PROPERTY DETAILS‘ button—click this to fetch property details from the Data Service:
- If no details are found, move the pin slightly and try again to get a more precise location, as property size and location accuracy may affect the lookup.
STEP 4:
- If the property details are retrieved successfully, scroll down to review all information about the property.
- To add the property to your system, click the ‘ADD PROPERTY‘ button on the card:
- After adding, click the ‘VIEW PROPERTY‘ button in the success message to open the property record in your system:
- Remember to add the new property to a Deal Flow and assign the appropriate status to manage your next steps.
