This guide explains the basic setup process for Investment Dominator 2.0, including accessing the onboarding wizard, configuring your profile, setting up company information, and understanding core system settings.
Completing these steps ensures your CRM is properly configured before importing leads or sending marketing letters.
Accessing the Onboarding Wizard
The Onboarding Wizard is the easiest way to configure your Investment Dominator account.
Currently, the wizard is located in the Legacy version of the platform.
How to Access the Onboarding Wizard
- From the Home page, locate the version toggle.
- Switch from 2.0 to Legacy.
- Click Customize.
- Select Wizards.
- Click Onboarding Wizard.
Once the wizard opens, click Next and follow the setup prompts.
Important Note About Your Websites
Investment Dominator automatically includes two websites:
- Buying Website – Used to receive offers from landowners who want to sell property.
- Selling Website – Used to market and sell properties you own.
During the onboarding process, when asked whether you currently have properties for sale, select Yes so the system creates your selling website domain as well.
After completing the wizard, return to Investment Dominator 2.0 to continue working in the updated interface.
Navigating Investment Dominator 2.0
The Home Page is the main navigation point in Investment Dominator.
If you ever get lost in the system:
- Click the Investment Dominator logo in the top-left corner.
- This will always return you to the Home Page.
Most daily work—including importing records and managing leads—will be performed in the 2.0 interface.
Adding Team Members
The Team section allows you to add additional users such as:
- Business partners
- Virtual assistants
- Call center representatives
- Administrative staff
How to Add a Team Member
- Go to Team.
- Click Add User.
- Enter the user’s information.
- Assign a role.
Available roles include:
- Admin – Full access to system settings and records.
- Representative (Rep) – Limited access for support tasks such as answering calls or managing leads.
Reps cannot modify sensitive settings such as passwords or account ownership.
Configuring Your Profile
Navigate to:
Profile → Information
Your profile contains internal account information such as:
- Name
- Email address
- Phone number
- Time zone
- Password
- Signature image
Most profile settings are internal only and are not visible to prospects.
Important: Do Not Change Your Login Email
Your login email is connected to several systems, including:
- Investment Dominator
- Land Profit Generator
- Training programs
- Data service subscriptions
Changing this email inside your profile may accidentally create a second account, which can separate your purchases and subscriptions.
If you need to change your email address, contact support so the accounts can be updated correctly.
Creating Your Signature Image
Your signature appears automatically on Prospect Neutral Letters sent to property owners.
To generate a signature
- Open Profile → Signature Image.
- Click Generate Signature.
You can create your signature using three methods:
- Type your name and choose a font style.
- Draw your signature using your mouse or touchscreen.
- Upload a signature image from your device.
Once saved, the signature will automatically appear on all future letters.
Profile Views
The Views section allows you to control how records are displayed inside the CRM.
You can choose between options such as:
- List view
- Card view
These preferences affect only how you see records inside the system.
Notification Settings
Notifications are triggered when someone interacts with your websites.
Navigate to:
Profile → Notifications
Buying Website Notifications
The buying website is used by landowners to request offers.
When someone submits a request through this site, the system creates a notification called:
Land New Offer Request
You can choose how you want to receive notifications:
- Text message
- Mobile app push notification
Selling Website Notifications
The selling website is used to market properties you own.
When a buyer submits an inquiry or offer through the site, the notification is labeled:
Marketing New Prospect
You can configure the same notification methods:
- SMS
- Mobile app notification
Configuring Company Settings
Navigate to:
Settings → Company
These settings control the information that appears on your marketing letters and websites.
Investment Dominator separates your business into two sections:
- Buying (Acquisitions) – Acquiring properties from landowners
- Selling (Dispositions) – Marketing properties you own
Buying Side Setup
The buying side manages communication with property owners who may want to sell land.
Typical workflow:
- Send Prospect Neutral Letters
- Receive calls from property owners
- Send purchase offers
- Complete due diligence
Company Name
You may enter either:
- Your business or LLC name
- Your personal name
Both options work for sending marketing letters.
Company Address
This address appears on your marketing letters.
Best practices include:
- Do not use your home address.
- Avoid using a standard P.O. Box.
Recommended alternatives include:
- UPS Store business mailboxes
- Mailbox rental services
- Virtual mailbox providers
Virtual mailbox services scan incoming mail and send digital copies to you.
Examples include services such as Anytime Mailbox and iPostal1.
Company Phone Number
This phone number appears on your Prospect Neutral Letters.
Because this number will receive seller calls, it is recommended to use a separate business phone number rather than a personal phone.
Common options include:
- VoIP phone systems
- Business phone services
- Google Voice (for beginners)
Offer Phone Number
The Offer Phone Number appears on offer letters sent to property owners.
This number should be answered by someone authorized to negotiate purchase offers.
Company Time Zone
The time zone setting appears on your marketing letters and informs sellers when they can contact you.
Most users simply select the time zone where they live.
Real Estate License Disclosure
If you are a licensed real estate agent or broker:
- Select Yes.
- Enter your disclosure text.
If you are not licensed, simply select No.
A license is not required to operate a land investing business.
Selling Side Setup
The selling side manages properties you are marketing to buyers.
This section includes:
- Selling company name
- Selling email address
- Selling phone number
- Business tax type (optional)
Important: Use a Separate Phone Number
Your selling side should use a different phone number from your buying side.
This keeps buyer inquiries separate from seller calls and helps organize your communications.
Account Management
Navigate to:
Settings → Account
This section opens the Account Management Center, where you can manage:
- Payment methods
- Subscription plan
- Data Service subscriptions
- Domain registrations
- Add-on services
Because this section contains billing information, it requires a separate login.
Accessing the Account Management Center
- Open Settings → Account.
- Click Forgot Password.
- Follow the email instructions to create a password.
Once logged in, you can:
- Update credit card information
- Upgrade or downgrade plans
- Cancel subscriptions
- Manage domain registrations
Campaign and Activity History
The History section records actions performed in the system, including:
- Record updates
- Mailing campaigns
- Team activity
If you work with a team, the system will display which user performed each action.
Mailing Campaign History
When you send marketing letters through mailing services, the system records details such as:
- Campaign date
- Mailing method
- Document template used
- Number of letters sent
This helps track marketing activity and mailing performance.
Customizing Records
Investment Dominator includes preconfigured record settings such as:
- Deal flows
- Status stages
- Tags
- Search filters
These are designed to support the Land Profit Generator workflow.
Most users do not need to modify these settings unless instructed by a coach or advanced training.
Integrations
Investment Dominator includes several integrations, including:
REI Print Mail
This service allows you to:
- Print letters
- Insert them into envelopes
- Add postage
- Mail them automatically
Using integrated mailing services is typically faster than printing and mailing letters manually.
Additional Features
Other system features include:
Files
Used to store documents and property photos.
Tracking Links
Used for marketing and analytics on your websites.
Property Data Tools
Some accounts may include AI tools such as property scoring to estimate how quickly a property might sell.
