Accessing the Setup Wizard

When you first sign into Investment Dominator 2.0, you’ll see a welcome message prompting you to begin setup.

Click:

Setup → Launch Setup Wizard

The setup wizard walks you through:

  • Selling Dispositions Setup
  • Website Domains

Step 1 — Profile Information

The first section configures your personal profile.

Required Fields

First Name & Last Name

These appear on your marketing letters.

If you need to update them later:

Profile → Edit Name


Profile Picture (Optional)

Profile pictures are only visible internally for your team members.

This is useful if:

  • You work with virtual assistants
  • You assign tasks to team members
  • Multiple users access the system

Email & Phone Number

These are your personal contact details — not your business contact information.

You may use:

  • Personal phone number
  • Personal email
  • Business email (optional)

Time Zone

Set your local time zone so:

  • Task times display correctly
  • Notifications align with your local time

Digital Signature Setup

Your signature is used on marketing letters and offer documents.

You have 3 options:

Option 1 — Draw Signature

Use your mouse or stylus to draw a signature.

Option 2 — Generate Signature

Type your name and select a font style.

Option 3 — Upload Signature

Upload a scanned image of your real signature.

You can change your signature later anytime under:

Profile → Signature

This section controls:

Used on:

This line works well with:

This section configures your buying business.

This is your marketing name.

Buying Website Domain

You need a buying website domain.

Examples:

Option 1 — Purchase Through Investment Dominator

The system can purchase and connect the domain automatically.


Option 2 — Purchase Through External Registrar

So, welcome everyone. How is everyone tonight? Uh my name is Louise and uh I welcome you to yet another weekly live training and Q&A session. Um I I I of course will be hosting uh this call and um basically uh what we want to do on this call uh uh is on the first half of the session we want to go every over everything that you need to do so you can be considered onboarded and to get it started on the investment dominator get you to the level where you can send your first letter campaign and then after we’re done with this uh the the second half will take on any questions uh you may have brought tonight. Right? So if you have like a investment dominator technical support question that you’ve been like holding you know uh you can just uh let me know and I’ll try to answer it live. I’ll show you how to do uh such thing or or or answer those questions. Okay. So how do you send those questions though? Uh so the first thing is you have to join with computer audio. So hopefully everyone can hear me fine. Um you know if if you can hear me just say hi on the chat for me please. Uh, and then I I that way I know, you know, everyone is hearing me. Uh, next up, uh, hey Tyler, I see, you know, uh, you just replied. Uh, click on, uh, the chat to submit those questions. So, this is actually where you can you can submit your questions. Just put in the chat. I’ll be able to view them and I’ll just answer them as I get them. Okay? However, we’ll try to go through every question uh today. You know, I think like uh for the past few sessions, we have all we’ve been able to answer those questions. Uh all right. So, with that said, uh I think we are ready to go into the investment dominator. So let me just open the investment dominator here in a second. So this is my own system of course. This is how the investment dominator should look on your on your end. Right? This is the welcome um you know screen and then you see here there is like an alert. You’re greeted with a message which says welcome to the investment dominar 2.0 all-in-one system. To get started click on the setup button. So, sorry. Uh, so the investment dominator actually has a uh a setup wizard which which is like an all-in-one place where you can enter all of your information uh that is required by the investment dominator. So, you can actually send your first mailing campaign, right? So, what I’m going to do is I’m just going to click this setup button here and then uh it preloads because I already had entered this information before, but I’m going to start from the beginning. Okay. So the beginning is your personal details first, right? So you can see the f the step one is welcome and profile. So this is where you fill out your own profile information, right? And then uh the first thing is your your name. So this is go this is going to be uh how you’re going to be addressed on the letters. So uh you know if you want to change that, this is where you can you can come and change it. Okay. Next up we have the profile picture. Uh so this is actually optional. The profile picture is not uh uh necessary. Uh it’s also not being shared like it’s not like it’s not going to be on your website by default. Uh this is just uh for for your internal team use only because the idea of the investment do is you can actually create team me add team members add other users uh that that work with you on your same system, right? You can add um several users. You can actually assign them tasks. Everyone will have their own profile. You will know what everyone is up to. Uh you know any changes that they make, they are registered on the on the activity history, right? So that’s why you want to create profile for everyone who uses the system. And then there are some that uh you know don’t really need to get access to the entire investment dominator. They they do have a specific task like a representative. uh you could you can assign in just the tasks that they need to to do their work, right? And that and and you know that that whole point was why why the profile picture is there, right? Everyone can have their own profile with their picture. You can you can you can view them easily with that, right? And that’s why it’s there, but it’s optional. So, you know, if you don’t want to upload it, it’s fine. Next up, we have the email. This these email and phones are actually not uh not not public. These are actually these can possibly when you sign up uh maybe you sign up with your personal email and and and your phone number here and that’s fine. This these ones are not going to be printed the letters. The ones we set after this uh under the buying acquisition site that’s the ones that that are going to be on the letters, right? So uh this is what this this is the phone number where you want to receive notifications like uh system notifications. So if you want to get those in in the in the company phone, you can just come back and update it. Uh if you want to receive notifications in your personal line, you can you can use your personal line here and it’s fine because this is not going to be public, right? So that’s what I’m going to leave it as. And next up we have the time zone. So just use just uh enter your own personal times on here and uh this is so you be like the correct uh you know uh dates and hours in the system right so it’s important that you pick uh the the actual times of where you are right now uh and then lastly uh we have the digital signature this is actually a a generated signature which you have the option to have to do this the other option you have is you can actually upload your real signature if you prefer. Right? Those are the two. Uh uh and I forgot to mention this one is going to be print on the letters. Uh it’s a marketing signature. Uh so you don’t really have to have your real signature there, but you can you can if you prefer to have your actual signature, you know, if you have a like a really good signature uh that you want, you know, to have on the on the letters. Uh you can absolutely upload it or you can just generate a simple one like like I have here. And you know, I think it looks good. Uh and lastly, actually lastly is how do you plan to use the system? So uh whatever you answer here doesn’t really change uh anything. It’s just uh you know I think it’s just so we know do you already do you plan to start out as an individual? Now that doesn’t mean that you cannot set up a company later. Right? So this is how you want to start uh at the beginning. Maybe you don’t want to set up a company right now. You just want to send your your initial batch of letters as an individual. That’s fine. uh or do you want to start as a company or a DBA? DBA means doing business ads. So that’s like a business name, right? Uh that you’re going by uh at the moment, but but it’s not necessarily your company name. So and then the last option is you’re you’re just not sure yet. That’s fine. If you you’re not sure, you can just set that and then that’s fine, right? Uh next after this is the company information. So this is actually the public facing information. So I would strongly recommend that you don’t use your personal phone number here under company phone. You might be tempted to, you know, use your personal phone phone number and and you actually can do that. Uh, you know, there’s nothing imputing you from using your personal phone number, but it’s just not not a good idea in terms of mixing your personal life and your your business. it’s actually better to just uh get like a virtual phone system. Uh and I I’ll name the the advantages shortly, but uh basically we have a recommendation for this. Uh so if I head over to our user guide here, which has all of the articles uh uh you know for the all the different steps and and you know methods and all all the training that we have. If I if I search for quo, which is like the a a virtual it’s like an app on your phone where you can actually purchase those virtual lines. We actually recommend ideally if you can get like three different lines here uh on this quo app and then because we are going to use all of them, right? The the the first line is the offer request line. is it’s like the whenever somebody wants to receive an offer from you, they will be calling this line, right? This is a line that you can answer yourself. So, you can forward this to your phone number and and pick up the call if you have the the chance and the time. Uh uh or you can actually delegate this call to a call center or an AI agent. So, because this uh call is always the same thing, it’s it’s a questionnaire. You’re going through questions about the property. You’re just inquiring information about the property, right? You’re going to ask them, uh, you know, who’s on on the contract, uh, uh, on the title, I’m sorry, on the title, uh, you know, is do I have the most accurate information, the acreage of the property? You know, does this uh, property have water access, electricity, road access, all that information that is required so we can come up with a with a good accurate offer, right? Uh, but it’s always you’re always asking the same questions really. So, you can actually have either a call center or an AI agent which is like a like a like a bot. You you’re talking to like a like a computer, right? And then the answers that you provide there, they will be actually be added to your system automatically, right? So the idea here is that you don’t have to do uh all this work because uh every call will will take like at least five to seven minutes, right? Uh if you have the chance to be to to be take those calls, you can just do it yourself. But uh in the future, you know, if you scale up and start sending more letters, you could you could get the services of of either call center and AI agent, right? So that’s that’s the the the biggest reason why you will want to have like a virtual phone system like this that you can delegate that if you use your personal cell phone number here or or like a physical line, you won’t be able to to to to give that line to to to those services, right? You will have to change your phone number uh you know if if you actually want to get like a call center in the future. But then any letters that you already send will have your old phone number. So you’ll you’ll have to still keep that number uh for people that call like you know 3 months later or 6 months later uh you probably don’t want to lose those as well. So you want to to still keep the old cell phone number. So this is why I recommend if you can set it up like this from the start that’s the best uh you know ideal way to do it right. Uh the second line will be the negotiation line. So this is actually only going to be printed on offer letters. So the offer letter is like a package with an offer like an offer on a property and then on that offer you pretty much say hey you know if you want to discuss this offer uh just call this number and then you know we can just talk about the offer. uh you will discuss uh you know maybe they will ask you uh you know why you send them that amount you know there’s room for negotiation you may have uh the option to send them like an improved offer uh if if they are not uh entirely content with the offer they they are they are close but maybe they want a little bit more uh you could you could be sending a second improved offer and that could that could seal the deal maybe. So that’s why you want that line to go to to you or a team member, somebody who actually knows uh about the offers, right? You you cannot actually have a call center take care of that call because they will don’t they won’t be able to negotiate for you uh realistically like uh um as well as you. So that’s why you would you would want to take care of that call yourself or somebody or a team member who actually uh uh works on your offers, right? And lastly, we have the cash line. This is the third line which is only for sales. So whenever you you get properties under contract, you will of course try to sell the property. You’re going to be marketing the property uh you know everywhere online and you could say you can send neighbor letters. You could you have different options of marketing and you’re attaching this line to all that that marketing, right? So, uh I I I recommend you know you have the chance to check out this article. I’m going to put put it on the chat so you can actually uh have it in your computer and check later, right? But uh if you’re new and you’re looking to set up the s the phone system, this is what I recommend. Okay? And you can see kind of the uh the pricing uh uh you know the different numbers as you can see you get those three lines here uh and and it is important that you test your changes. So before you send your first letters make sure that you can call yourself you can receive those calls and and all that stuff. It’s very important that it works so you don’t send like a a batch of letters with a wrong number or something. Right. All right. So, uh that’s the phone numbers down. So, I’m just going to leave this here. And then, uh the next one is uh company facts. So, uh that this is completely optional. Most people don’t have fax by now, so you can just leave it blank if you want. Uh company email is the next one. company email is um again I would recommend that you get like a business email instead of trying to use your personal email I would strongly recommend that even if you don’t create like a set up a company if you’re starting as an individual I would still create like a business email address right so what you can do you have two options right you can purchase an email service like this I own louisebiseland.com right uh and I can get the info at or I can get Louise at, you know, I that this doesn’t really matter, but I I can I just want to get like an email uh where I can receive, you know, of course, emails from from the interested people, right? Uh you can purchase an email like this. The other option is to just create like a free email address. So, for example, if I get I buy Louise buys land atgmail.com. This is like a free email, right? Everyone has probably created like a free Gmail or Yahoo or Outlook. If you get like a free email address, you can actually it works perfectly fine as well, right? Uh there there’s nothing really uh you can receive mail, you can send mail. So it’s perfectly fine to use like a like a free email address if you want. Uh the only reason to to go the other route is it might look a little bit more professional if you get one a business email based on your domain. Uh but yeah, you have to make the choice because this uh getting like a like an email from your domain like this, it does co cost extra, right? You will have to purchase the the email service. You’ll have to go to GoDaddy or you know Google uh domains and and purchase the email service uh which is like a yearly fee uh to own this domain. You’ll have to be be sure that you’re able to open this. you you will have to connect it to you know maybe you can view it in Gmail or you have to go to go to actually check the email so uh that’s just something to consider right uh both but options are widely used by the you know by the users and both options work just as well okay uh next up we have the street address so this is like your company address in here as well I recommend that you don’t use your home address strongly recommend that uh so if you have like an office or like a PO box where you can receive mail, you can use that no problem, right? That’s perfect. Uh the other option you have is you can get like a virtual mailbox service. So the virtual mailbox is like an online service just like quote like the phone numbers except this one is for uh like a like a physical address that you purchase online and then you will use that address that they will give you and then any mail you receive there what’s going to happen is it’s going to be scanned and sent to your email address right so if you get any letters back you will be uh you will be receiving them to your email address instead right the advantage is of course you don’t have to go pick up your mail to like a PO box or something every couple days. Uh uh but yeah, you you can uh our recommendation is actually call anytime mailbox, but there are other companies that also offer the same service. By the way, it’s the same with Quo with the with the spiritual phones lines. There are other companies that also offer this service. So, you can compare, choose the one that you prefer. But we just have like a recommendation with these two because we know that many of our users uh use these services and that they work well, right? That’s the main reason why we would have these recommendations. Uh so anytime mail outbox uh I don’t think it’s uh too expensive. So if I go to lpgmailbox.com here, uh the plans start from $9.99 per month. Uh that depends on how many uh letters I guess you expect to receive. Uh and then you will pretty much choose where you want uh your virtual mailing address be. So you know wherever you plan to be based out of I suppose you could get like the uh the area code from for the phones from that area and also the virtual mailbox from that area as well. Right. So uh yeah and also I believe uh with quote they have a a free trial with with this company. I’m not sure they do. Uh probably not. But uh uh that those are our recommendations. You can decide. You can also get like a PO box if you live close to you know to the UPS store or something. You can get like a PO box and that’s perfect as well. Right. In any case, just put that uh when you have that uh address here, just put it here. And uh and that’s uh that’s going to be the return address for each and every letter that you send. And so that’s why uh we would recommend that you don’t use your home address, right? And lastly, we have company time zone here. Uh this is like the companywide time zone. Uh so these are like the hours you will be answering the the the phone, right? So you can actually do uh uh the letter pretty much says we work 9 to5 Pacific. This is what so you know if you live in Europe uh which some some you know users do for sure I recommend that you pick like a US time zone so you can realistically uh you probably want to answer the phone in the US hours over like the European hours right so I recommend that you pick stick to a to a US time zone maybe where you’re doing most of the mailing if you’re focusing on the eastern uh you know coast you could you could pick eastern time but in general like most people you know probably live in US. So, just pick up your your your actual times and where you’re going to be working, right? That’s what I would I would I would say. And I see we have a a couple of questions. So, let me just answer some of them. Uh, is this being recorded? Yes, it’s being recorded. We will upload it to the user guide uh you know, within the within a week. All right. So let me just continue with the with this uh with the call. Let me just finish this setup and uh we can uh uh we can take on the other questions after this. Okay. So uh we went through the company information. If I click next uh the next thing will be the uh buying acquisition side of your business, right? So the buying the buying site is where you purchase properties, right? You actually have two two separate websites. One is for buying properties and one is for selling properties. You want to keep those two things separate. Generally um um it is recommend that you have like a like a and it’s actually required that you have like a different domain one for buying and one for selling. You cannot use the same one. So you know I’ve seen like people uh that that want to use this want to have just one site for both buying and selling. But generally uh the recommendation that we uh the the the training uh is to have those things be different because it’s not in your best interest to have people check like the the prices you you are selling properties versus what you’re purchasing, right? Because of course you’re trying to flip uh property uh and not uh so that could you know make some calls more difficult. So it’s best if you keep those two things separate and that’s why you have like a buying brand here and you will have a selling brand in the next step. So you have buying brand is how you you’re going to call yourself, right? So uh I just went for a very simple one which is Louise bias land. But you should think spend some time thinking what do I want to call myself? This is going to be on your letters. This is going to be on your website. Uh so spend some time thinking what do I represent? Right? I purchase properties or or or if you’re going to focus on land like this, you can just call yourself yourself land something about land, right? Purchasing land. So, I went for for lu bisland and also pick luisbelland.com here. So, this is uh you can actually purchase this domain a domain through here. We we will actually uh uh provide like a free buying site domain and a selling domain as well. One each uh as long as you have the investment dominator, you will be able to use these domains for your business, right? If you if you get it true here. So, all you have to do is think of what you want to call your your your your uh your buying site and then you have to check that it’s available because if somebody already has that, you’ll have to pick something else. You’ll need to change the wording a little bit or something to make sure that uh that it’s available, right? So, if I will go for Luis Bland, it will say it says it’s available. If I click register it here, we will actually purchase this domain to you and link it to your investment dominator. Right? So really all you have to do is think of spend some time thinking what what’s your brand buying brand and what you want your your your domain to be. Right? Uh in my case I have Louis buys land with an S, right? And if I check availability, it will say that it’s it’s already taken because I actually own that domain, right? So it it will tell you oh this is already taken but you can you can try something else right and and there’s there’s it’s giving you some options uh or you can just type something else right now the other option though is you can choose to purchase those domains yourself you can go to Godaddy and purchase two domains yourself uh and that’s a recommendation I would do if you want to pick up like the email service just purchase the the email and the domain at the same time uh it will be less less uh uh uh you know less work and you can actually connect that do that domain. Sometimes people already have domains right I already come from you know I already have like my own another service and I I switch to investment dominant I already have those domains you can also use those domains that you you have on another on a on a domain register right like godaddy or google domains or namecheep etc. uh you can actually come and link those to the investment dominator uh and I can show you how uh how how to do that. So we actually have a uh a training on that. So if I search for GoDaddy here uh that will actually take me to this article that says how to configure your website domains with GoDaddy and that has the training on how to do it right from the beginning to from even signing up purchasing the domain and actually doing the changes. So basically uh and Adrian is asking these questions, right? I own my own two websites. How do I have to and how do I connect them? This is where I’m stuck. Okay. Uh did you get them through GoDaddy, Adrian? Uh if you did, uh I can show you. So you see how I have uh GoDaddy open here. Basically, what you have to do, hopefully you did, but if you don’t, let me know and maybe I can send you a training on on how to do it on your domain register. But basically, you have to go to to your GoDaddy and then go to my products here. Manage my products and then your domain should be down here, right? So, you can see I own this single domain here. Lots of cash offers. So, you should see your your two domains here. Uh you’ll have to do this for both domains, right? By the way, uh you know, you start with the buying and then do the selling, but b pretty much you have to go to the DNS settings here. You see where it says DNS? You want to click here and there is a a step you you have to do where is uh the DNS records you have to change uh the CNAME record. So you will scroll down until you find this this one that says CNAME and www right and basically the value here by default is going to be at and then the time to leave will be like uh like an hour. This is how it’s going to look uh by default, right? You will actually want to change the value here from at to investment dominator.com. And then you want to change change the time to leave to uh 600 seconds or 10 minutes, right? And then I just press save. And with this I pointed the CNAME to the investment dominator. Right? You need to do a second step. uh you need to go to the forwarding section here uh at the top and then uh you need to create a forwarding here. So you see I already created it but but this is how it looks like. I will I will create uh I guess I can remove it and then just do it again. Right. I’m going to delete it just so so you know how it looks. It will have a button says add forward in here. I would click on it and then you you just have to select the HTTP and then put www and then your domain lots of cashers.com and I want this for to be permanent. And I just want to press save. Okay, that’s going to be it. With that, you can actually connect the domain to the investment dominator. Those are the two steps we need to do. And it’s all in this article, by the way. So you can actually uh you know uh follow the instructions here, the written instructions as well. Uh but but this is pretty much what what we have to do. The next step will be to go to my uh and it’s also in the article again. It’s here. We we need to go to settings and then websites. So I’m just going to close this again and then go to settings and then websites here. And then I need to connect that that domain that I just I just linked uh I just went through in GoDaddy. go to actions and then change your domain and then put that new domain here and then it should connect and that’s it. Uh the last thing actually is to secure the your domain after you connect it. Uh it should have your your new domain should show up here and then you need to secure it. Actually you need to put click on secure and then click here to secure it and now it’s going to be done. Yeah. Uh but these are all instructions that are are on this article. So, I recommend you check this article and then uh if you still have questions uh uh let me know. Uh but I saw like you send a message here that you want to use your own website, right? So you so you’re saying you don’t want to use the investment dominator default website and you can do that. So basically this website that that if I go here this website that I have is actually connected to my investment dominator. So if somebody fills out this information it will actually uh it will actually send it to my investment dominator uh if somebody submits a property here. If somebody contacts me here uh you know send me a message it will send me a message to the my investment dominator. I would strongly suggest that you do you use uh this uh connected website but you can technically also connect like an external website that you already have developed. Uh you will have to connect connect it to the investment do dominator with with the API. We have like the investment domin API and you can you can technically like uh you know connect that do domain that website that you have with the investment dominar as well but that will just be a lot of uh a lot of work like development work. Um uh but but it can be done. Some people do that. Some people already have their own websites and they they just want to really use that. Uh you will have to to find a way to connect it with the API. uh uh we can send you some training but you will have to do that yourself actually. Uh that’s not something that we can we can like uh uh you know individually like connect everyone’s websites with uh we we provide already an existing website. We actually have the the option that you change your your themes here. So you can see this is a different look probably from the from the one that you have because I actually install a custom theme here on my website. Right. So, if I go down here to the where it says uh themes here, uh you you can see I have the option to to change the looks because I already installed some of the of these themes that I already uh these are called sample themes. You can actually download uh these yourself and just test them out. See if you like them better than the than the default looks, right? You probably have these this installed. This is like the default 2.0 look and there’s nothing wrong with that look. If you if you like how it looks, just know that you also have the option to change how your website looks, right? You can install custom themes. You can create your own custom theme. Uh you know, you can go that route. That will actually be a lot less work than trying to connect the website you already own like uh with the investment dominator. It’s probably going to be a lot less work because you’re just changing the looks instead of trying to connect like a you know in the back end with the API. Uh but it is your choice of course how how you want to to to handle your websites. Uh uh I would recommend that you at least check uh uh the article with the custom themes so you you actually download these themes and just see if you you like one uh enough. Right? This is the article that explains how to create your own but also has like nine sample themes that that I showed you earlier. Right? You see how this has a completely different look uh uh and and different colors also. So I’m just going to put in the chat, you know, you can check it and you can you can you can just make your own your own choice, right? All right. Okay. Let me let me continue with this. I need to finish this setup. I’m sorry for uh you know people that were uh uh looking to to get the setup uh you know first uh I got a little bit sidetracked here but let’s just finish the setup here. Uh it’s just one more step actually is the buying and the selling. So I already talked about the buying brand and the the domain the offer phone is the second line. Remember the uh the line with the uh the negotiation line right so if you get that three line setup that I recommended earlier in the call you will just put the negotiation line under offer phone. Now you also have the option to enter an offer email. So you can create like a different email just for offers. You can do like offers at you know your domain.com something like this or you can you can use actually the same email that you created earlier for your company information. Uh I don’t think it’s necessary to have like a second email for offers but you can choose to have that if you really want to that this will be like a like a preference right. You can enter the same email that you created earlier for under company information and put it as offers as well. And then lastly, we have are you a real estate a licensed real estate a agent/broker. So if you are, you have to set say yes. And then uh this is like a like a default disclosure. You want to make sure that this one is is like legal. Check with your lawyer. Make sure that this disclosure is enough. This is going to be printed at the bottom of the letters. It’s going to be on your websites. So, uh you may have to rewrite it a little bit or uh I guess it depends on where you hold the real estate license as well. Uh so just just confirm that. Yeah. Uh because technically there there’s there are times when when if you don’t disclose it, it will be illegal. So just be careful with that. Of course, if you’re not, you don’t have to worry about just say no. Right. And lastly, we have the selling disposition. So this is the selling part of your of your business. We’re setting up the selling s the selling part of your business. So, how am I going to call my selling brand? How do I want uh people to look me up on Google, right? People can go to Google and and put your your selling brand name and then this website should should show up and your properties as well. The properties that you’re your listings, what you’re whatever you’re selling, right? Uh so again, spend some time thinking of what do I want to call myself here? and also the the domain for selling as well. Right? So, as you can see, I own louisisland.com, right? So, if I check, it’s going to be already taken. So, you’re going to have to pick something else. But again, you you can I recommend you spend some time thinking of you’re buying a brand and you’re selling brand. And once you find something that you like, you you can just uh get it from here, right? if you want uh to get your domain from here or you can go to GoDaddy and purchase your domains on your on your on your site as well. And lastly, we have the sales line, the sales email. So, the sales line will be the the the last uh the third line that we had under uh quote. It’s called the cash line there as well. Uh uh and it’s basic basically uh if somebody call this is actually the most important call of all because it means somebody is interested in a property that you are selling right that you’re listed. Uh so if they call this number it’s because somebody is is inquiring about this property. So, you want to make be sure that somebody who really knows about the property, you’re probably yourself or like a or like a team member that works with you, but actually knows about the property because they’re probably going to ask you questions about the property, right? By now, you you’re already familiarized with the property because you’re looking to sell it, right? So, you will be able to provide information on what’s close to the property, you know, what what’s the potential of this property, what what it can be used for. Uh, and this is all created in the marketing section because you’re creating pictures. You’re creating like an actual listing before you start marketing the property, right? But then you you will still, you know, some people would prefer to call and talk to a person and see, you know, what what’s the the options to purchase, right? And all that information. So, uh this is the most important call of all because this is the one that makes the money. So, you want to make sure uh that uh uh that you pick it up, right? And the sales email, I recommend that you create like a separate email just for sales, right? Just create one like this. Uh and then this one is just exclusively for sales, right? Once I have all this, uh I can just click next. And then I can review all the information I enter here. If I need to change anything, I can just go back to it, click edit, and then change make the change, right? So, just confirm that all this information is accurate. If you need to change anything later, that’s fine. You can actually change it later, right? So, don’t don’t think you’re stuck with this number forever or something. If you made like a typo or something, I can show you where you can change all of this information later as well. But, you know, if everything looks good, just click, you can click on complete setup, right? And it it pretty much tells you you’re ready to go. You you are what’s what’s the next step? Then the next steps is to actually download some records into your system to send some letters. Right? At this point, if you enter all this information, you are ready to send your first mailing campaign, which is very important because that’s how you get the ball rolling, right? That’s how you some people will call you back. you will work on making some offers, sending some uh sending those out and hopefully you know you get actually a a a property uh you know under contract and and and and that’s how it works, right? So, but but it’s it’s it’s very highly unlikely that you’re going to find a property without you first sending some letters, right? Uh uh so that’s why it’s so important that you get to this point and you actually go get to the point where you send your first letters, right? Uh and this is pretty much the step by step. After you uh send letters and engage. So if they call back, you will actually make uh if they call back and they want to receive an offer from you, you will then uh conduct preliminary research to determine the market value. Right? So this means doing research on the property so you can come up with an offer amount. That’s pretty much what it is, right? You’re going to look deeply into the property so you can uh come up with a fair offer for you and for them and then actually mail that offer. Right? The next step is to mail that offer. Hopefully, they will accept your offer. That’s this is the point uh where you can discuss the offer. Maybe send an improve offer. If you have the the the margins make sense for you, you could send like a second offer if they don’t accept your first one uh with an improved amount, right? Then they will hopefully accept your offer. And then if you if they do then you will start working on the due diligence. So this means you’re getting ready to sell the property yourself. So you need to really get the most accurate information and then create the marketing materials on the property. So and come up with a sale price. How much are you going to be selling this property for, right? So you this is the step where you actually do the deep research uh on the on the property so you can actually uh uh get ready to to actually start marketing the property. Right. Once you have all all those materials ready, you will you will market the deal and then hopefully, you know, somebody will will purchase the property and you’ll get paid, right? So, I I will just close this. So, I I just click start and then close this. And then the next uh by the way, if you need to change anything, you don’t need to go through the setup wizard all over again. If you go to your profile here at the top, you will see that your profile information is all here. Remember, we changed your name here. the the profile picture, the signature. So, if you just need to say say you say change your signature, say you didn’t like it too much, you can just come here and actually, you know, if you go to actions, replace, you can upload it, or you can just generate another one, right? You want to change your phone number, all that stuff, you can change it through here. And you can also go to settings and company and change all of your company information, right? So, here is the the buying brand, uh, you know, all the phone numbers here. Uh, and then the selling disposition section is all of your selling information, right? That we I just enter it earlier. So, it’s all here. You don’t got you don’t have to go through the entire setup wizard over and over to just change one thing, right? So, this was what I wanted to go through uh on the setup, right? Yes, you can actually create like a let’s say uh so let’s say uh you know some person calls you and they say they say I actually want to receive an offer for 10 properties that I own right or or two or three right maybe 10 is too much so let’s say this person calls me and then uh they they have another property I send a letter for this property but they have another property that they want me to uh also make an offer. You can actually add this second property by going to actions and then uh wait no I think it’s not here anymore. I I think we changed this. I I think you want to go to uh actions and then add property here. Right. So you don’t have to go into this person uh uh into this property. You just go to uh actions and then add property. And then you you see where it says attach property to an existing owner. This is where I’m going to find her out. So her name was Natalia, right? Natal Natalie. Okay. Okay. That’s why. Uh, okay. So, I’m gonna find her. Okay, I’m just going to pick her, right? Let’s say this person called me. They want an they have another property. I can manually add this property here. So, I just need all the all of the property information, right? So, let’s say this property is in California. it’s it’s in another in another state and that’s fine. You can just add that this property here and then just fill out uh all information. It’s important you have the APN the the state and the county all the ones that are that have an asterisk those are required right so then you just fill it out. So let’s say this is the APN right this is just made up but uh you will need the the actual property information here right and then you just uh you know let’s say it’s it’s a threeacre property uh and then you will add it to uh LPG neutral letter prospect no actually you probably want to to to make an offer to this you so you want to move it under penny research right and then confirm and this will create the property into your system And now you will actually uh you know start doing the research. So you can make an offer on this second property that you added into the system, right? And and you can do this, you know, for 10 different properties, right? Let’s say this person actually has those 10 properties and you want to make an individual offer on each of them. This is how you would do it. Right? Now there is also another option. So let’s say what’s what you’re offering is for several parcels that are like adjacent, right? Sometimes people have like a like several parcels. You can also make an offer and and the system is not uh it’s not necessarily what we recommend, but sometimes people do this uh where like let’s say they have this uh this property and they have like adjacent parcels which which will be but but you want to make an offer for all of them at once. You don’t want to send 10 off 10 offers for each of those small parcels, right? Sometimes people they have these requests where they they say I just want to make a single offer for all the of the properties. What you can do here is actually here under APN like add all those parcels. If they’re adjacent, it’s probably going to have it’s going to look like this, right? So let’s say they they have like uh these parcels and what you have to do here actually so this uh represents that you have you are making an offer for all of these right for these five uh different parcels you can also just copy the full APN here so you can do here like like this right something like this this means you you’re making offer for all of these APN right these different property properties and what you have to do is make sure that the the acreage is all is the sum of all of these right so this the property size is not going to be five it’s going to be 20 acres right because I’m making for all I’m making an offer for all these uh this is how how how people uh just make an offer for several parcels at once right so those are the two ways you would make uh uh you know additional offers or or to the same person right so hopefully that helped Jackie If you have more questions, let me know. Uh this is you actually want to create an user for them. you actually want to uh create. So you will go to team here at the top right and you want to create a path user. Uh uh you can call them pad and then live right. So so to to fill the questionnaire they will fill it under their own name. You don’t want to give them your own account. This so you can know what they’re doing, right? It’s very similar, but it’s not exactly the same because the the the way you get to the DNS, you may have to go to another section like uh so it doesn’t look exactly the same, but yet it’s the same step. So you you have to find the the uh the website that you want to change and then go to the DNS settings. So in goad is right here in namech. I don’t have anchube account, but I I have gone with students uh and just show them how to change it. So, uh, do you want to try to follow the the GoDaddy article, see if you can figure it out? So you want to go to actions and then Neo offer request here and actually during the call you have to you want to go through this uh you know questionnaire here right if you didn’t that’s fine uh but but ideally we would want to get uh you know all the accurate information from the person themsself because they will know more about the property you will pretty much look up the property here you can use the APN name or their name right or the reference number ideally the easiest ways to to do it with the reference number. Every letter that you send has a reference number and then you can just use that uh to find them easily. Okay, let’s say this is the guy that called me or this is the woman that called me and then you’re just going to go through uh this questionnaire here, right? It’s going to ask you uh who’s the on the title uh then I click next. You know, before we can present you to an offer, we just have a a few questions for you. Do you have a few minutes? You know, who’s the owner of the of the property? Is there a second owner here on on the property or is it just one owner? A third, fourth. So, this who’s on the title, right? And then is you’re asking, are you the owner of record? You’re going to all of this information, right? Is the property owned by the company? What’s the phone number we can call if we need to have more more questions? Do you have an email that we can follow up on? Uh, you know, you’re confirming all this information, right? Is the property size 30 acres? Uh, pretty much going through all that, all this information, you know, remember when I talk about the, you know, fans. Does it have uh the cabin? All that information. Is there electricity? Yes. Does he have road access? You know, you just want to get all the information and then uh and then uh basically uh you will at the end you will say oh you know we we will we’ll do some research on the property and then we’ll send you an an offer in seven to 10 business days. If you want to give yourself more time you can just instead of saying seven to 10 you can say two weeks or you know whatever right? Uh thank you and you know we’ll be hearing to you from us and then you want to move this property to uh you want to move this property to the pending presearch status. This means that you are going to be working on the property uh you’re going to be doing the premier research so you can actually come up with the offer and actually send that offer. Right? So this is what you will do. If they if they submit the property themselves on their website, they can also go to your website and just submit their property, right? If they fill it out here, then you don’t have to go through the questionnaire because they already did their work for you. You will just find the property here under followup here under pending preliminary research. The property should be here and then you will do the preliminary research. Get Fully Onboarded and Ready to Send Your First Mailing Campaign

Welcome to the Investment Dominator 2.0 onboarding process. This guide walks you through the complete setup wizard, explains the recommended phone and email setup, and shows you how to prepare your system so you can send your first direct mail campaign.

This training is based on one of the weekly live Setup & Q&A sessions hosted by the Investment Dominator team.

Accessing the Setup Wizard

When you first log into Investment Dominator 2.0, you’ll see a welcome message prompting you to begin setup.

To start:

  1. Click Setup
  2. Follow the guided setup wizard
  3. Complete each section step-by-step

The setup wizard is designed to help you enter all information required to begin mailing campaigns.


Step 1: Welcome & Profile Setup

Profile Information

Enter your:

  • Name
  • Email
  • Phone number
  • Time zone

Your name will appear on marketing letters.

Your phone and email in this section are private and used for:

  • Notifications
  • Internal communication
  • Team management

These are not printed publicly on letters.


Profile Picture (Optional)

You may upload a profile picture for internal team management purposes.

This is useful if:

  • You have multiple team members
  • You assign tasks inside the system
  • You want easier user identification

The profile image is not publicly displayed by default.


Time Zone

Choose your correct local time zone so:

  • Dates display properly
  • Notifications arrive correctly
  • Tasks and workflows stay accurate

Marketing Signature

You can either:

  • Generate a digital signature
  • Upload your real signature

This signature may appear on letters and marketing materials.

Most users use a generated signature, but uploading a real signature is optional.


How You Plan to Use the System

Select one of the following:

  • Individual
  • Company
  • DBA (Doing Business As)
  • Not Sure Yet

This simply helps define your starting setup and can be changed later.


Step 2: Company Information

This section contains your public-facing business information.


Recommended Phone Number Setup

It is strongly recommended that you use virtual business phone numbers instead of your personal phone number.

Step 3: Buying Acquisition Setup

This section configures your property acquisition brand.


Buying Brand

Your buying brand is:

  • Printed on letters
  • Used on your website
  • Seen by sellers

Examples:

  • Fast Land Offers
  • Cash For Rural Land

Choose something:

  • Memorable
  • Professional
  • Easy to spell

Buying Domain Setup

You have two options:

Option 1 — Register Through Investment Dominator

Investment Dominator provides:

  • One free buying domain
  • One free selling domain

Option 2 — Use Your Own Domain

You can connect domains purchased from:


Connecting a Domain (GoDaddy Example)

To connect your domain:

  1. Open DNS settings
  2. Edit the CNAME record for www
  3. Point it to:
    • investmentdominator.com
  4. Set TTL to:
    • 600 seconds (10 minutes)

Then:

  1. Create forwarding
  2. Forward root domain to:
    • www.yourdomain.com
  3. Use permanent forwarding

Finally:

  1. Go to:
    • Settings → Websites
  2. Connect the domain
  3. Click Secure Website

Offer Phone & Offer Email

The Offer Phone should be your:

  • Negotiation line

The Offer Email can be:

  • Separate offer email
  • Same business email

If you are a licensed agent or broker:

  • Select Yes
  • Review the disclosure language carefully
  • Consult legal counsel if needed

This disclosure appears on:

  • Letters

Step 4: Selling Disposition Setup

This section configures your sales/marketing brand.


Selling Brand

Your selling brand may differ from your buying brand.

Examples:

  • Arizona Land Deals
  • Freedom Acres
  • Land Spot Listings

This brand appears on:

  • Property listings
  • Marketing materials
  • Public sales pages

Sales Line

This is your:

  • Buyer inquiry line
  • Property sales phone number

This is often the most important line because it handles incoming buyers.

Use a number answered by:

  • You
  • A trained team member

Sales Email

Recommended:

  • Separate email dedicated to property sales

After reviewing all information:

  1. Click Complete Setup
  2. Your system is now ready for:

What Happens After Setup?

Editing Setup Information Later

You can edit information anytime.


Edit Profile Information

  • Profile → Edit Profile

You can update:

  • Name

Edit Company Information

Adding Multiple Properties for One Owner

You can attach additional properties to an existing owner.

To do this:

  1. Go to:
    • Actions → Add Property
  2. Select:
    • Attach Property to Existing Owner
  3. Search for the owner
  4. Add the property information

This is useful when:

  • Owners have multiple parcels
  • You want to make multiple offers

Making One Offer for Multiple Parcels

If parcels are adjacent:

  • You may combine APNs into one offer

Make sure:

  • Total acreage reflects all parcels combined

Using Call Centers or AI Agents

Investment Dominator supports:

  • Call centers
  • AI answering services

Recommended:

  • Create separate team member accounts for agents
  • Do not share your personal login

To add a user:

  1. Go to:
    • Team → Add User
  2. Create a dedicated account

Using External Websites & API Connections
